Samenvatting
A remote Push-To-Talk button is developed that is powered by the radio waves emitted by a body-worn radio. The button can be placed on any object, including metal ones, without losing functionality. Haptic feedback is provided, even when used wearing combat or winter gloves. The components of the remote PTT button, i.e. the push button, the RF energy harvester and the transmitter, are discussed in detail as is the demonstration of the complete wireless power and data transfer system.
