Samenvatting

In this paper, we investigate the effect of the use of the Lesson Study methodology in high school teachers of mathematics. Six teachers and two groups of students taking the course of probability and statistics participated in this study. A lesson on Normal Distribution was designed and applied, in two cycles, and subsequently, the results of each cycles were discussed. The data analysis focused on the use of resources. For this, LS methodology is articulated with the Documentational Approach of Didactics, whose perspective is to study the resources used by the teacher in his teaching practice. Our results show that the collaborative aspect of this methodology allowed teachers to reflect and become aware of the usual way they use resources in their regular practice, as well as to improve their teaching activity.
