Samenvatting
Thermal dilatation experiments are reported on Bi2Ca1Sr2Cu2O8+δ and Bi1.9Pb0.35Ca2Sr2Cu3O10+δ. A reversible oxidation process is found for both compounds to take place at T{reversed tilde equals}200°C. This process is accompanied with variations of the length of the c-axis. Optimalization of Tc requires oxygen depletion for n=2 and suppletion for n=3 compounds.
