Samenvatting
The Residue is the joint perception of a number of neighbouring Fourier-components of a sound as a single percept of sharp timbre and more or less pronounced low pitch. It occurs when the Fourier-components are too narrowly spaced for them to be resolved and perceived separately. The pitch, if present, is roughly equal to the spacing of the components. Read More:
