Samenvatting

The activities of the Benelux Working Group of Software are reviewed in this article. These activities are twofold : dissemination of information on CACSD developments and the development of software. The dissemination of information concerns the WGS-Newsletter, an Inventory of available control subroutines and the issue of the Extended List of Control Software. The development of software concerns the production of the subroutine library in control and systems theory SLICOT and the production of the MATLAB Gateway Compiler MGC. WGS has a close cooperation with several institutions outside the Benelux with respect to these activities.
