Samenvatting

This paper concerns the modeling of eddy current losses in conductive materials in the vicinity of a high-frequency transformer due to leakage fluxes. The analysis is performed using the Spectral Element Method, in which Legendre-Gauss-Lobatto polynomials for the magnetic field approximation are applied to generate higher-order expansions. The nodal Galerkin approximation is applied to obtain the solution of the diffusion equation in the elements.
