Samenvatting

Two domain decomposition methods based on the surface equivalence principle, the tangential equivalence principle algorithm (TEPA) and the linear embedding via Green’s operators (LEGO), are introduced and applied to solve electromagnetic scattering by large and complex structures. These algorithms are combined with the characteristic basis function method (CBFM) and the eigencurrent expansion method (EEM).
