N2 - The invention is directed to a waterbased radiation curable composition compromising a compound having at least one group derived from a carboxylic ester of a hydroxyalkylamide with an α, β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acidd and water. The moleculair weight (Mw) of the compound is higher than 1000. The composition also can comprise stabiliser groups. The compositions according to the invention can be applied in the technical fields of coatings, inks and adhesives.
