Samenvatting

Within the Neutral Atom Kat-1 Collaboration at the Eindhoven University of Technology, we are developing a neutral-atom hybrid quantum computer suitable for achieving quantum advantage despite current limits of control hardware. Our experiment utilises Strontium atoms in a re-configurable optical tweezer array as our qubit register, with the ground and clock states of the Sr atoms acting as the qubit states. Entangling gates are mediated by long-range Rydberg interactions. Single qubit rotations are performed via direct coherent addressing of the Sr clock transition, with operand qubits individually addressed via an acousto-optic deflector, whilst the Rydberg transition is addressed globally with a broad light-sheet beam. This work details both performed and future characterisation of both the single qubit and multi-qubit operations in our system.
