Samenvatting

Active Distribution Network (AN) operation is a particular feature of Smart Grids, which is expected to support integration of a large-scale renewable energy sources. Power routers are a combination of power electronic applications and communication systems used to enable promising functions of the AN concept. This paper aims to investigate possibilities of the power router to control voltage and power flow in a lab set-up. Interactions between communication systems, control layers, and physical electric networks are examined.
