Samenvatting

Electric Vehicle Fleets (EVFs) are becoming popular as a means of transportation due to their environmental and economic benefits. However, scheduling the charging moments of an EVF is a complex task that requires careful planning of the charging infrastructure, the charging needs of the fleet, and the grid capacity. In this study, we propose an approach to optimize the charging schedule of a EVF, which minimizes the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of a fleet operator. Results show that charging the fleet as late as possible is the optimal solution, as battery health has the largest impact on the TCO.
