    Samenvatting

This study is a part of ongoing research focused on the formation of the silicalite (siliceous zeolite) which is one of the most commonly studied cases. Our goal is to explain the role of molecular recognition mechanism during the formation of nanoslabs from Si33 precursors. The crucial role seems to be that of SDA-precursor interaction. We have also Cound that water shell layers surrounding the silica species can be distinguished. There is only attractive interaction between positively charged template molecule and silica oligomers, when the latter carries a significant charge.
