Samenvatting

In the previous chapters of this book, several types of membrane reactors have been introduced for several applications. This chapter reports a few general models that can be used for membrane reactors. Examples of model results from the literature are also given. Although the list of models is perhaps not complete, most of the membrane reactors reported in this book can be modeled with one of the models proposed in this chapter. Of course, kinetics and membrane flux closure equations are only valid for the examples reported here and should be changed and verified by the users for their specific problem.
