Samenvatting

In this paper, a voltage distribution model for MFTs with foil windings is presented. The model aims to compute the effects of harmonics in high dv/dt pulses from semiconductor switches, and consists of an equivalent circuit and FEM to quantify the impedance matrix. In order to verify the accuracy of the model, a test benchmark is manufactured and a comparison of experimental and calculation results are performed. The results of this comparison shows good agreement between the model and the test benchmark, indicating that the model is practical to compute the effects of high dv/dt pulses on MFTs.
