Samenvatting
Laser fluorescence expts. in the Ar ion system were carried out with 2 different types of lasers. In the Ar ion laser expt. the results showed that excitation processes directly from the at. ArI system do not play any role in laser action. The pulsed dye laser expt. helps to explain an important part of the population of the 4p group. [on SciFinder (R)]
