    Samenvatting

In the hybrid chi simulator, the integration of the continuous and the discrete behaviour leads to delayed initial state calculation and possibly multiple discrete sub-phases within one discrete phase. In a sub-phase processes evolve independently, using a local copy of the last consistent continuous state, which simplifies reasoning about them. In the paper the algorithm implemented by the chi simulator is described and is illustrated with an example
