Samenvatting
We present the technology development for the integration of an ultra-short polarization rotator on an active-passive indium phosphide membrane platform. The technology is proven with two demonstrator circuits: a polarization-independent semiconductor optical amplifier and a dual-polarization light source. Experimental results for both circuits are presented in this paper.
