Samenvatting

The paper presents a recently developed Heat Air & Moisture Laboratory in SimuLink. The simulation laboratory facilitates the integration of the following models: (1) a whole building model; (2) Heating Venting and Air-Conditioning and primary systems; (3) 2D indoor airflow, 3D Heat Air & Moisture transport in constructions and 2D airflow/driving rain. Preliminary results of a new verification study are provided in more detail in this work. Furthermore, a case study, comprehending the impact of Heating Venting and Air-Conditioning control set point strategies on the indoor climate of a monumental church and it's organ, shows how the Heat Air & Moisture Laboratory might be used for design oriented users. It is concluded that the presented simulation environment is capable of modeling and solving a large range of complex integrated Heat Air & Moisture problems and maybe quite useful for design.
