Samenvatting
The Preisach model is addressed as a promising hysteresis model which is broadly employed and investigated in literature. Identification of the weight functions associated with the irreversible and the reversible parts of the hysteresis loops pose the main challenges to the Preisach model. In this study, the irreversible part is represented by the product of two parametric Cauchy-Lorentz distributions. Two approaches are used for estimating the reversible part of hysteresis loops. In the first approach, the reversible part is obtained by integrating the slopes of B-H curves at the reversal points. In the second approach, the reversible part is approximated by a parametric exponential function and then its parameters are identified using an optimization process. The Preisach model associated with both approaches are implemented on Vafcoflux-50, identified and finally compared in the terms of accuracy. The comparison results reveal that the Preisach model with the reversible part obtained from the proposed method possesses higher accuracy for modelling hysteresis effect in Non-Oriented (NO) steels.
