Samenvatting
This paper presents a modification in the filter banks structure presented in [1][2] for tracking time-varying harmonics distortions. The method uses SSB modulation and does not require the use of notch filters. With this new structure it is possible to track and visualize the time-varying harmonic components of power systems, without frequency spillover caused by time-frequency techniques. This new structure allows a clearer visualization of time-varying nature of harmonics, providing a new perspective of analysis that can assist in harmonic distortion controlling and understanding the time-dependency of power quality parameters.
