Samenvatting
The conversion of an atomic condensate to a condensate of diatomic molecules in the rovibrational ground state was analyzed. A stimulated Raman transtion enhanced by magnetic fields that sweeps over a Feshbach resonance was used. The magnitude of the Raman transtion probability was enhanced by seven orders for sodium atoms. The resulting condensate was found to be as stable as the atomic condensates.
