Samenvatting
In the Netherlands, the energy transition is occurring rapidly. Every year a greater number of solar panels are getting installed at the rooftops of the households, more electric vehicles are running on the roads and more heat-pumps are being used for heating, replacing conventional gas. All these upcoming changes can have significant impact on the capacity and voltage quality on the electricity networks. In this paper, two low voltage networks of Enexis, in which many household customers are connected, have been analysed. From the analysis, it is found that the relatively older generation networks in Enexis area are not sufficiently ready to accommodate the above-mentioned new demand of loads. The major issues are the shortage of transformer’s capacity, cable overloading, and undervoltage problems. The new networks in Enexis service area are relatively robust and have lesser impacts of those new loads.
