Samenvatting
In this letter, an efficient electromagnetic modeling methodology is proposed for multistage integrated passive isolation structures. The methodology is based on a modal expansion of interference field components. With it, we are able to accurately characterize a great variety of structures approximately 300 times faster than with full-wave simulations. Calculated results have been compared to both simulations and measurements, obtaining a good agreement. The proposed model is intended to be a tool for fast prediction purposes at early stages of the design flow.
