Samenvatting
This paper presents a point-to-multipoint (P2MP) in-home optical network infrastructure based on 1-mm core diameter plastic optical fiber (POF). By employing passive POF splitters, converged broadband wired and wireless service transmission over a P2MP POF infrastructure is demonstrated. A gross 2.2 Gb/s fractional discrete multitone (DMT) and a 528-MHz ultra wideband (UWB) wireless signal distribution simultaneously to four end-users are successfully achieved with ${rm BER}
