Samenvatting
Highlights of a H2020 coordination and support action to increase activity in smart grid research, demonstration and innovation in the EU are presented. PANTERA (PAN European Technology Energy Research Approach) provides a forum for actors in the smart grid domain. This paper focuses on a review of regulations, codes and standards in the EU conducted by the PANTERA project and focuses on the development of Network Codes by looking at a specific case study of a research and demonstration project in Ireland. The opportunities to foster smart grid RDI through a shared understanding of insights available on the PANTERA platform are highlighted.
