Samenvatting
The BIOMASS SAR P-Band antenna consists of a large deployable reflector antenna system with an offset geometry that results in high crosspolar level from the reflector, this is compensated with an adequate design of the reflector Feed S/S to generate a "crosspolar" pattern with proper amplitude and phase to cancel the reflector crosspolar down to admissible values. In the frame of BIOMASS mission the contract "Large Antennas for P-Band SAR Critical Breadboarding" is running between ESA and CASA for the development of an engineering model of the Feed S/S. The work developed under this contract is presented in this paper.
