Samenvatting
Beam-steered infrared light communication (BS-ILC) is emerging as a strong technological solution for next-generation high-capacity indoor optical wireless networks. While the optical transmitter in the BS-ILC can reuse well-developed technologies in fibre-optic communication by employing narrow infrared beams, the receiver's design faces challenges of collecting sufficient power. This study proposes an automated design of the receiver to address the narrow field of view of the receiver. Simulation and experimental results show the performance of the proposed receiver to ensure the GbE connection without the need for alignment.
