Samenvatting

This paper describes a conceptual framework for modeling activity interactions between household heads in conducting out-of-home maintenance activities. It is comprised of several steps; generation of household activities, task allocation of household activities, trip-chaining choices, resource allocation and mode choice. The models are specified for different household types: worker and non-worker households, with or without children. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the modeling framework for household travel activity decision making processes so that it can capture interactions between household heads.
