Samenvatting

A no. of ZSM-5 and ZSM-11 zeolites were studied by using 13C and 29Si solid-state magic-angle-spinning NMR. The study confirmed the presence of occluded org. cations at the intersections of the 10-ring channels in the zeolite. Incorporated Pr4N+ cations exhibit a particular splitting of Me resonance, which is related to the ZSM-5 channel structure. The nature of 29Si NMR spectra of HZSM-5 strongly depends on the presence of silanol groups in defect positions in the zeolite lattice
