Academic background

Wim received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Computer Science from Ghent University in Belgium. He received a PhD degree in mathematical engineering, as well as in statistics, and he has been a postdoctoral fellow at Ghent University (Belgium), KU Leuven (Belgium), and Eindhoven University of Technology (the Netherlands). 
His main interests are in the field of mathematics, statistics, and machine learning.

Research profile

Wim De Mulder is a postdoc in Emerging Technologies Lab, which is part of the Integrated Circuits group.
He is working on a project on Sigma Delta Modulators, in collaboration with NXP, where his main aim is to introduce machine learning techniques to enhance classical engineering techniques such as Fourier transformations.
