Research profile
Vinícius Oliari is a PhD student in the Information and Communication Theory (ICT) Lab at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research interests include digital signal processing, digital communications, mathematical modeling and optical fiber communications. He is currently working on the development of new optical fiber models and signal processing techniques to improve data transmission.
Academic background
Vinícius Oliari was born in Vila Velha, Brazil. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and his M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), Brazil, in 2016 and 2017, respectively. During his Bachelor, he conducted research on optical communications in the UFES Telecommunications Laboratory (LabTel). On his Master’s, he worked on the topic of wavelets and collaborated with the Laboratory of Research and Development of Petroleum Analysis Methodology (LabPetro). Since September 2017, he has been a PhD student in the Information and Communication Theory (ICT) Lab, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Netherlands.
