Ervaring

I started my professional journey with power system consultancy companies, first  in India (1994-199) and afterwardes in the Netherlands (1999-2005). In the Netherlands, I worked two years for Smit Transformatoren & then with KEMA Consultants. In 2005, I took a break from professional career and pursued my academic life at TU/Eindhoven & obtained first a master degree & later a doctorate degree.

Since 2011, I worked for two network operators (DSO) in the Netherlands, first with Endinet (Alliander) and then with Enexis. During this period, I obtained vast experience on network planning, practical power quality problems of the network users & risk management of the network assets.

In 2025, I decided to start my academic journey at the TU/e as an Assistant Professor in the EES group of the Electrical Engineering department. I am responsible for teaching and research activities (under the theme "Power Conversion") within EES group of TU/e. I am also responsible for the Power Quality course at EE department and the System Integration Project (SIP) for the Sustainable Energy Technology (SET) master programme. Besides that I am part of the admission committee of the SET master programme and also mentor for the SET students who choose to follow the specialization in the EES track.
