Academic background
Remco Bonten received his BSc, MSc and PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2016, 2017 and 2023, respectively, from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His PhD research involved an innovative control strategy for (non-)resonant isolated converters and the applicability of these converters.
Remco worked as a hardware engineer for Applied Micro Electronics "AME" B.V. from 2016 to 2023. He joined the TU/e as Post-Doctoral researcher in 2023.
Research profile
Remco Bonten is a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Electromechanics and Power Electronics group of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His main research activities are focused on high-frequency power conversion, where his main research target is high-frequency resonant power systems which covers multiple application domains, i.e. plasma application, heating systems, etc.
