Research profile

Min Li is Associate Professor in the Systemic Change cluster. He has been working at the junction of embedded signal processing (sensor and human-computer interaction), embedded processor architecture, system on chip and mixed-signal circuitry since 2002. He is an elected member of the IEEE Technical Committee for Design and Implementation of Signal Processing Systems and has contributed to key technological components that have been mass-deployed in consumer electronics products. In his career, Li has directly worked with the R&D programs of major technology companies such as Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba, Renesas, Sony and Freescale.

Academic background

Min Li holds a BE with the highest honor in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University in China. He obtained his PhD from KU Leuven in Belgium in 2009, investigating low-power software-defined radio baseband. He worked as researcher and senior researcher at Imec research and innovation hub in nanoelectronics and digital technologies (Belgium) from 2009 to 2013. In 2014, Li started at NXP Semiconductors in Eindhoven, where he has held a variety of architect roles. He was appointed Associate Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in 2017, and still works as Senior Principal System Architect at NXP Semiconductors.
