Research profile
Marco Slikker is an associate professor of Operations Management and Game Theory with the Operations, Planning, Accounting, and Control research group at the department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences. In his research, Marco Slikker focuses on acknowledging individual decision makers in operations management settings via applications and extensions of models and results from game theory, cooperative as well as non-cooperative.
Academic background
Marco Slikker graduated in Econometrics from Tilburg University in 1995 with a specialization in Management Science. He then carried out his PhD research at the Department of Econometrics and the CentER research institute at the same university. In 2000, he obtained his doctorate with his thesis 'Decision making and cooperation restrictions'. He then moved to Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) where he first held a position as assistant professor in the group Accounting, Finance, and Marketing at the department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences (IE&IS). He currently holds a position as associate professor at the IE&IS department, in the research group Operations, Planning, Accounting, and Control.
