Academic background

Manaswini Gowtham V obtained her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (first class with distincyion) from MSRIT, Bangalore, India.  For her Master's she enrolled into the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), Chennai, India, where she was a part of the Polymer Engineering and Colloidal Science lab, Department of Chemical Engineering. Her Master's thesis was focused on similarly charged surfactant-nanoparticle systems and the interactions between them. During her Master's she was also a part of the Placement & Internship Cell at IIT Madras, working as a core member for the Chemical Engineering department.

Research profile

Manaswini Gowtham V is a doctoral candidate at the Processing & Performance of Materials group, Department of Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. Her research focuses on thin liquid films, specifically those stabilized by proteins and biopolymers. She aims to gain insights into thin film stability, in the context of protein stabilized foams, by utilizing interfacial rheology and the thin film balance (TFB) technique.
