Academic background
Irmak Ozvaris holds a B.Sc. (2015) and M.Sc. (2019) degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hacettepe University and Middle East Technical University respectively. Her B.Sc. research focused on transceiver design for MIMO systems using D-BLAST, and M.Sc. research focused on polar codes; specifically its performance over fading binary symmetric channels, and convergence to Reed Muller codes.
Research profile
Irmak Ozvaris is enrolled in the Ph.D. program in the Signal Processing Systems group as a member of the Information and Communication Theory Lab. Her research focuses on Forward Error Correction (FEC) decoding algorithms for the fiber optic communication.
