Research profile
Ilona Jankowska works as a Project Development Officer in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (M&CS). The Project Development Office at M&CS is part of the Research Support Network (RSN), which supports researchers in the development and implementation of research projects at all stages.
In her day-to-day role at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Ilona assists researchers in identifying suitable opportunities, developing project proposals and ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements. She guides researchers through the proposal submission process, oversees the budgeting process and handles various administrative aspects of grants and contracts. She liaises with external stakeholders, funding agencies, industry partners and other institutions to foster collaborations.
While Ilona's strength lies in industrial grants (Chips JU, ITEA, Xecs), she is committed to assisting with different types of proposals, ensuring that all receive the best possible guidance and support to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and innovation.

Academic background
Ilona studied Computer Science and Econometrics. She joined TU/e in 2020 after a long period of traveling. She has worked in a few companies in different roles.
