Faisal Mehmood

Researching advanced solid-state pulsed power generators for applications in non-thermal plasma and lightning discharge studies.

I am a PhD researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), developing state-of-the-art solid-state pulsed power generators for plasma applications. My research focuses on designing and testing pulsed power systems capable of producing high voltages, high currents, and flexible pulse waveforms, enabling precise control of plasma characteristics.

These pulsed power generators are being developed for the study of non-thermal plasma and its various applications. Through this work, I aim to advance the understanding of plasma dynamics and contribute to the development of efficient and reliable plasma generation techniques.

I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of modern pulsed power technology and applying it to solve real-world challenges in energy, environment, and high-voltage research.
