Elke Klaassen is a part-time researcher at the Electrical Energy Systems group at the TU/e. Her main affiliation is with Enexis BV, one of the largests Distribution Grid Operators in the Netherlands. Her research focus is the impact of the energy transition on the power system. Developing methodologies to define and evaluate the impact of future scenario's on electricity grids, to ensure future-proof grid operation and network planning.
Elke Klaassen received the B.Sc. degree in Innovation Sciences in 2010 and M.Sc. degree in Sustainable Energy Technology in 2012, both from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), the Netherlands. Afterwards she persued a PhD in 2016 at the Electrical Energy Systems Group (TU/e), focussing on the impact of demand response benefits from a power system perspective.
