Demi de Moor is a member of the Materials Science and Interfaces research group. At the moment she is learning to make various techniques, such as, High Pressue Freezing, Freeze Substitution and FIB-SEM (Focussed Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscopy) her expertise.
Demi de Moor obtained her bachelor degree in Applied Science-Chemistry at Zuyd Hogeschool in 2018. For her graduation project she joined the Laboratory of Materials and Interface Chemistry at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and worked on the creation and mineralization of bicontinuous polymeric templates for the formation of mesoporous silica nanoparticles. After her graduation she stayed at the Laboratory of Materials and Interface Chemistry to work as a research assistant and is currently learning the essentials of Scanning Electron Microscopy.
