By thoroughly understanding how molecules come together to create function, we gain the ability to influence various aspects of our future. Including materials, energy, transportation, health, and life itself.

For over 15 years, ICMS has stood as the epicenter where forward-thinking scientists converge. As the pioneer multidisciplinary institute at the Eindhoven University of Technology, we're on a continuous mission to catalyze the integration of research disciplines in the domains of advanced materials and engineering life. Together, we're pushing the boundaries of knowledge and innovation, leading the charge in groundbreaking discoveries. Our passion lies not just in bringing people together to execute multidisciplinary science, but in lighting the spark of scientific curiosity to unravel the secrets of complex molecular systems towards new insights to forge a brighter future for all.

In 2015 stemden de VN-lidstaten in met 17 wereldwijde duurzame ontwikkelingsdoelstellingen (Sustainable Development Goals, SDG's) om armoede te beëindigen, de planeet te beschermen en voor iedereen welvaart te garanderen. Ons werk draagt bij aan de volgende duurzame ontwikkelingsdoelstelling(en):
