We develop advanced computational models for complex fluid flows and next-generation energy systems.
Organisatieprofiel
We develop next-generation computational frameworks that reveal, quantify, and predict complex transport phenomena in fluid flows and advanced energy systems. Our work advances predictive science by integrating high-fidelity physics-based modeling, computational fluid dynamics, and multi-physics methods that connect phenomena across spatial and temporal scales. Current research focuses on wind energy systems and emerging photovoltaic technologies—particularly perovskite solar cells—where we uncover governing mechanisms and develop strategies to improve performance and reliability. To accelerate scientific discovery, we also advance new computational paradigms, including machine-learning-assisted modeling and emerging quantum-computing approaches, to enhance the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of high-fidelity simulations.
