The theme is related to all aspects of smart automotive systems ranging from (commercial) vehicle and tire dynamics to cooperative and automated vehicles.
Within this theme the research in the Dynamics and Control section is focussed on various aspects of modern (commercial) vehicles and is geared towards - Vehicle and tire dynamics - Commercial vehicles and automation - Cooperative and automated vehicles
The research is enriched by various up-to-date test facilities in the TU/e Automotive Technology lab which is shared with other researchers working on aspects of automotive. These includes several automated and electric vehicles, a flatplank tire tester, a suspension testrig and a scaled trucklab. Our group is recognized for strong vehicle model based research approach.
