Uprooting Simulator

Device to measure the quality of a tree. A pulling winch exerts a load on the tree and both the force exerted and the angle of inclination at the base of the tree are measured. Together with the dimensions of the tree this provides an indication of the stability and thus tree security in the event of a specific wind force. The measurements are transmitted radiographically to a Notebook PC that calculates and graphically displays the tree data in "real-time".
