Dataset corresponding to the underlying data of PRIME scientific publications - Publication Title: Four-Dimensional Printed Liquid Crystalline Elastomer Actuators with Fast Photoinduced Mechanical Response toward Light-Driven Robotic Functions - Publication Reference: ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces 2020, 12, 39, 44195. - Publication DOI: 10.1021/acsami.0c13341 - Figure 5 caption: Temporal dependence of (a) photoinduced force and (b) temperature under exposure to low UV light intensity (50 mW/cm2) carried out with a dog bone-shaped LCE strip (110 μm thick, sample cross-sectional area of 0.31 mm2) with uniaxial orientation of the director along the long axis of the element. A pre-stretching of the sample by a force of 3.1 mN has been applied prior to force measurement. The sample is illuminated with UV light (365 nm) for 240 s (illumination starts at t = 0 s, purple line), and UVlight is switched off; the sample is left to relax without light for 120 s (black line). (a inset) Photoinduced force measured after this relaxation period while the LCE strip is illuminated with 4 mW/cm2 of blue light (455 nm) for 30 min. PRIME. Advanced and versatile PRInting platform for the next generation of active Microfluidic dEvices PRIME has received Funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 829010
