This course covers the main principles in the field of kinetics and separation technology. In the kinetics part, the main focus will be on the derivation of reaction rate equations on
the basis of the reaction mechanism based on a set of elementary reaction steps, the
derivation of the reaction orders and the derivation of the apparent activation energy. In the separation
technology part, the main focus will be on the design of equipment for distillation, extraction and absorption.
