In this course, you reimagine future everyday life through the design and creation of an ‘experiential future’, a way in which we can ‘visit’ a possible future, informed by (and shaping) imaginaries of how the future could be in an age of crises and transitions. The project you create and the questions it addresses are in dialogue with critical research and perspectives from social and cultural research disciplines that can offer alternative paradigms for understanding the role design and designers play in shaping everyday life.
