The course "Programming and Modelling" introduces the programming language Python and the concepts of programming, such as assignments, conditionals, iteration, and classes and methods. You will also learn to use the most common data types, such as lists, sets, tuples and dictionaries. At the end of this course you will be able to develop software in Python in a structured way and well-documented way. You will also learn how to test your software. Finally, the course will provide examples, exercises and assignments from the mathematical modeling cycle, focusing on implementing and developing algorithmic tools.
