Students learn how to plan, conduct and critically evaluate process intelligence projects in practice. They learn to follow research methodology to choose and combine appropriate techniques to generate and evaluate relevant insights from process logs and models. Students work on a challenge with a real-word dataset.Doelstellingen
Registration for this course is limited to 60 students. Registration in Osiris is open for DS&AI students only. - Understand business context and map business problems to process intelligence questions
- Choose appropriate process intelligence techniques and combine them systematically, following the research methodology
- Execute the steps of the Process Intelligence lifecycle on real-world data Evaluate and validate results
- Show the use of critical thinking at every step of the challenge
- Demonstrate the use of creative thinking at one of the steps of the challenge
- Translate analyses results into relevant insights, clearly stating limitations due to the nature of the data and methods used
- Present the results of a process intelligence challenge in writing and in a presentation
- Reflect on societal and ethical implications of their work.
